Dear Importers,
A few things to note for April 10, 2025, 12:01AM ET:
- Imports from China, Macau and Hong Kong will be subject to 125% reciprocal tariff. If your cargo is loaded on the vessel before April 10, then cargo will come in the previous tariff of 84%. Entry must be made by May 27, 2025, 12:01AM ET.
- All country specific tariff except for China, Macau and Hong Kong from April 10, 2025 @ 12:01AM ET have been temporarily suspended until July 9, 2025, 12:01AM ET.
- All exclusions still apply from Executive order 14257.
- New goods in addition to Annex 2 have been added to the exclusion list on reciprocal tariffs, please see attached CSMS 64724565.
- De Minimis tariff related China has increased, please see below notice.

Based on the EO there may be tariffs on Chinese build vessels coming into the US in the near future. Will keep you posted.
