Ocean Alliance Carriers Add Vietnam Calls

The Journal of Commerce on Jan. 21 reported that the Ocean Alliance will offer North American shippers additional connections from Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent for 2026 as part of the “Day 10” product. The Port of Haiphong will be a major connection point and will be added to calls for U.S. East Coast and West Coast services.  CMA CGM plans to establish a $600 million terminal at this Vietnamese port. In addition to Haiphong, the ports of Laem Chabang and Colombo will also be added to the service rotation.
